Christmas time,everywhere cakes, chocolates gifts zooming in and out.How to explain kids that normal cakes are made of refined flour.Better option to bake something healthy ,no sugar and less fats..With all this in my mind ,I tried this Whole Wheat Date Walnut Jaggery Cake with my children.Guess what ,It comes out to be more healthy, more soft and much more mouth watery...Plus this Whole Wheat cake has goodness of Jaggery,Date and Walnut.And Whole Wheat is itself full of fibers. Pumpkin,a super food now gaining popularity due to its nutrition benefits.Being mother I am always in a search of the way to feed  healthy food to my kids.But with pumpkin in vegetable form or soup ,kids make excuses.So this chocolaty colour Pumpkin barfi ,no one can resist to have at least one.In this recipe ,I have chosen jaggery instead of white sugar,very less ghee.So,in this way its more  filling with less guilt.
