Onion Koki is a sindhi recipe.This Koki is healthy Flatbread made with whole wheat flour as the main ingredient.
It is the best breakfast /tiffin box idea.
Let's start with:
Ingredients:--
- 1 bowl whole wheat flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp suji
- 1/4 tsp amchur powder/anar dana(pomegranate seed powder)
- 1/4 tsp cumin powder
- 1/4 tsp chilly powder (optional)
- 1 Tbsp chopped onion
- few coriander leaves
- 3 Tbsp ghee
- 1/2 bowl water.
How to make:---

- First, add onion in a mixing bowl.
- Add salt, cumin powder, and amchur powder.
- Now add whole whole flour and coriander leaves.
- Keep mixing. Now add suji and chilly powder
- Slowly add 2 Tbsp ghee, keep mixing.
- Now knead the dough by adding water 1 -1 spoon.
- The dough should be a bit hard like puri.
- Keep it aside for 5 mins.
- Now heat pan/tawa on low flame.
- Divide the dough into two parts.
- Take one part on a flat surface and roll it to make round thick koki.
- Grease the tawa and transfer it on the hot tawa.
- Gently press it, so that it cooks properly.
- Turn it after 1 min so that all sides cook properly.
- Apply 1 tsp ghee on both sides.
- Cook until both sides turn brown.
- Same way cooks another part.
- Serve hot with curd or pickle.
- Or pack in ur little one's tiffin.
