Vada ,a south Indian Snack  is every one's favourite. 
Originally vada is made up of  urad dal /Split black gram but in this page you will learn how to enhance   nutrition  and  fibre in this yummy vada by adding Jowar flour,suji and vegetables.
Ingredients:--
- 4 whole wheat bread slices
 - 2 Tbsp suji/rawa
 - 2 Tbsp Jowar Flour
 - 1 Tbsp chopped onions
 - 1 Tbsp grated carrot
 - 1 Tbsp grated capsicum
 - 1 tsp cumin powder
 - 1/2 tsp salt or as your taste
 - 1/4 tsp chilli powder
 - pinch hing/Asfoetida powder
 - few coriander leaves
 - 1/2 tsp ginger and garlic paste
 - 3 Tbsp curd
 - 1 Tbsp water if needed
 - oil for frying

- First Take 4 whole wheat bread slices in a bowl.Tear off the bread slices into pieces.
 - Add Jowar flour and Suji .
 - Mix it well.
 - Add salt,cumin powder,chilli powder,ginger and garlic paste.
 - Now add hing/asfoetida ,coriander leaves and all chopped vegetables.
Bread crumbs mixture  - Knead this dough by adding curd.Dough should be not sticky nor tight.It should be soft.You can add water if needed.
 - Cover it and keep aside for atleast 5 minutes.
 - Heat the oil in a pan on medium flame
 - Now take a lemon size ball from dough and press gently to flatten then slowly create a hole in the center like in medu vada.
 - Now deep fry the vada slowly on medium flame.
 - Turn vada to deep fry on both sides till they turn golden brown.
 - Drain on paper towel to remove excess oil.
 - Serve yummy vada with chutney or sambar.
 
TIPS:
1.Apply oil in your hand when giving shape to vada.
2.For more healthy form you can also bake vada.
