Hummus ,Healthy &Yummy
A smoothly blended chickpea dip is much much healthier than market cheese dip. This simple hummus with pita bread or whole wheat bread toast makes a great healthy snack or breakfast.

INGREDIENTS:----
- 1 cup boiled chickpea
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1tsp sesame seed
- 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 to 4 garlic cloves
- 1 cup water
- 2 Tbsp fresh curd
How to prepare:--
Time:20 mins
Prep:10 mins
- First take boiled chickpea in a bowl.
- Now peel the chickpea with your fingers.Throw the peel.
- Add the peeled chickpea in a blender of high power.
- Boil /cook 2 to 3 garlic cloves.
- Add boiled garlic cloves in the blender with chickpea.
- Add cumin powder,salt,lemon juice,1/2 Tbsp olive oil,sesame seed
- To make it smoother add 1/2 cup water.
- Add curd .Blend further
- Taste and check for smooth consistency.
- If the hummus is too thick ,add 1 Tbsp more water and keep on adding & blending till you get required consistency.
- Now smoke 1 chopped garlic clove in pan on low flame.
- Pour Hummus in a serving dish and sprinkle smoked garlic and drizzle with 1Tbsp olive oil
- Enjoy with Pita bread/Whole Wheat bread Toast.
